So if you haven’t noticed, I’m moving a little slower these days, hence the reason for the delay in posting about our family/friend baby shower on the 15th. My sister and mom went above and beyond to make it special for Derrick and me, and it was absolutely beautiful! Our house was decked out in pink and blue streamers, balloons, banners and little elephants. We had some delicious food, including my favorite… the huge fruit tart, that I may or may not have eaten half of.

We were blessed with good company too, and had our families and close friends there to tell us how much we’re going to miss sleeping! Duh But they also shared how much joy our children will bring to our lives, and we all can’t wait to meet Corbin and Lynley. Derrick and I feel lucky to have so many amazing friends and family to share this journey with, and we are incredibly thankful for their generosity. Just look at all those gifts! The babies have a nice little wardrobe started, a huge stash of diapers and so much gear. Our house has officially turned into baby central station!
