I don’t know when the last time was that I actually went outside for a stroll, let alone through the park or with other mamas! Oh wait, yes I do. It was a few months ago in the Texas summer heat…
I had the bright idea to meet friends at the park in our neighborhood. I was pushing a double stroller with two three-year-olds seated, and an almost 20lb baby attached to me. I literally couldn’t breathe after about five minutes. I have been patiently waiting for the twins to start their Mother’s Day Out program so Harper and I can get out of the house and try again, minus the extra 75ish pounds of toddler.
I was so happy to have the opportunity to get together with Austin Moms Blog and some of the lovely ladies who make up the team of contributors for a picnic and stroll in downtown Austin. We had sandwiches and cupcakes, and learned all about the new Britax B-Ready stroller. Lots of babies of all sizes and ages, and moms with different lifestyles. We were all very impressed by this stroller. I was blown away to learn that it has 12 configurations!
My favorite is having the seat facing toward me. Harper is a mama’s girl through and through, so keeping that face-to-face time now that she’s out of the infant car seat is huge. I don’t know any other strollers that have a front facing seat for older babies and toddlers. I also love how easy the stroller is to pack up, but it is a tad bulky. We also have the Britax B-Agile double stroller for the twins, and the two are about the same size folded up. But the ease of pushing and maneuvering the stroller is worth it, not to mention the GIANT storage basket underneath.
The stroller comes in five different colors, and with a line of accessories. You can see what other moms are saying by reading other reviews here.
