 Do Good Buy Us works with many charitable organizations, but I’d like to highlight a few that are campaigning for their causes this holiday season.

The Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter is selling stylish winter hats to raise money to enroll 50 needy families in the MedicAlert® + Alzheimer’s Association Safe Return® program.  

This nation-wide program, run in conjunction with law enforcement, helps find and return home individuals with Alzheimer’s disease who wander and get lost.  Enrollees receive ID bracelets, wallet cards, and other important identification. Wandering affects up to 70 percent of those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.  Experts say that close to 50 percent of wanderers who are not found within 24 hours may never be found, suffer serious injury, or death.  For more information go to www.alz.org/nyc. 

 

Derrick received a winter hat to review, and he really likes it! This hat is lightweight and breathable, and most importantly, it fits his big head! No seriously, he has a large head, and it’s hard to find hats that fit him well. This one does. But it also fits my small head, and it’s unisex!
