Yeehaw, Levi is one! My sweet nephew had his first birthday party last weekend, and it was such a blast. The babies and I have been in my hometown for almost a week now, and this was one of the reasons why. I had the pleasure of creating some little buckaroo birthday decorations for Levi, and I’m pretty pleased with how they turned out.
I used my new Cricut Explore to create a birthday banner, water bottle labels, treat tags, food signs, and little cutouts to sprinkle on the tabletops. We used raffia ribbon to hang the banner, and created centerpieces with mason jars, red and white balloons and western flowers.
One of my favorite party items were the sheriff badge name tags that I cut out for everyone to write silly outlaw or wild west names on. Examples: Six-shooter Steff, Daring Derrick, Levi the Kid, Bootstrap Bruce, etc. I also cut out some mustaches for silly play and photos.
We also had western-themed menu items with little label cards.
My mom and I also designed a few signs to hang here and there. We intended on framing them, but as with all parties, you prioritize! And not too many photos of them, so just take my word for it- they were super cute! You can download ready-to-print .jpgs of the signs below. (Please give credit where credit is due!)
I loved seeing all of the babies in their cowboy boots, and watching them ride the horsey (bail of hay)! Levi was a doll with his western belt buckle, and Corbin with his blue bandana and overalls. Lynley, for once, did not try to rip out her hair accessories, so I couldn’t stop taking photos of her doggie ears! She definitely knew she was cute and strutted it in her little shorts and boots! Are we in trouble or what?
