I cannot express in words how excited I am to being going on a huge family vacation! Derrick’s family and a few of his parents’ friends are all taking a cruise for his mom’s 60th birthday. I get to tag along with Corbin, Lynley and my parents too. We’ll be off to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel for SEVEN days. What am I going to do with myself?

We’re in full planning mode, but I have no idea where to begin… I have started sifting through the babies’ warm weather clothes, and thankfully they have just enough that still fit to get us by for a week. They are just missing footwear! Hard to find now too, but I am going to hit up a few thrift stores this week. I do, however, have a handle on food! I am determined not to let this stress me out. I know that the dining room on board will be full of choices. What I am worried about is being out and about at the destinations. I know first hand what happens when you eat local fruit… ewww So, I do not want that happening to my babes! I am stocked with snacks and food pouches, but I hope they will actually eat what I offer. Little picky things have been really testing me in this department.

I still need to make a list of toys and books to bring, logistical items like which stroller and carriers, and tote bags. I am sure that I will over pack! Have you ever been on a cruise or gone to the Caribbean with a baby or toddler? Please leave your tips in the comments!
