Memorial Day Recap + Group Giveaway!


I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day! We took the time to talk to Lynley and Corbin about the special meaning of the day. We told them that their Grandad, Derrick’s Dad, fought in the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Air Force. And how their Uncle Chris, my brother, fought in the Iraq War as a Calvary Scout for the U.S. Army. They both came back home unwounded and with more pride for their country than they went to war with. But sadly, sometimes all soldiers don’t make it back. This is the day we remember the ones who sacrificed their lives, and we thank everyone past and present who has served our country.

We also took some really cute pictures in our red, white and blue! Aren’t those pictures just adorable?
